Planet PDC11J (Planet Discovered (by) Charon # 11, J Class) was originally an M class planet located in a star star system that was in the middle of an area of high subspace instability. The planet was home to a crew of Klingons who crashed aboard the IKS Tabor.
A subspace tear in the solar system resulted in the displacement of several planets including PDC11J. The result of the displacement pushed PDC11J closer to the sun killing all remaining life on the planet and changing it's classification from M to J.
About the Planet
Before it's displacement the planet was home to an assortment of lifeforms. It was covered in a vast swath of jungles but it's atmosphere was unstable with several large storms that would pass over the planet.
One of the lifeforms on the planet was a large predatory creature. The creature resembled a giant tiger but had a beak that slightly resembled an alligator's maw. This creature would injure several Charon Away Team members, it's venom a highly toxic neural agent. It is now extinct as is all life on the planet.
